Microsoft Releases eBook for IT Professionals to Learn Windows Server 2012

Introducing Windows Server 2012 - Based on Beta

With Windows Server 2012, Microsoft introduces a collection of new features to address the evolving business and technical needs of modern IT infrastructures. Core to this experience is the need to scale out, virtualize, and move workloads, applications, and services to cloud architectures. These cloud architectures, in turn, must  offer new levels of agility, efficiency and availability to provide an appreciable ROI back to the business organization. Windows Server 2012 incorporates Microsoft's experience with designing, managing and operating public clouds, all based on Windows Server, that have provided organizations with scalable, dynamic, and multi-tenant-aware platforms for securely connecting users and resources across global datacenters. Clouds, whether deployed publicly or privately, rely on the same technology components for applications, services, management, and experiences when deployed in hosted environments, on single servers, at small offices, or in  corporate datacenters. All implementations have the same underlying requirements and the platform should scale consistently and be easily managed from small business  installations to infinitely large public clouds.

To help IT Professionals understand and prepare to leverage the new cloud-derived capabilities of Windows Server 2012, Microsoft has recently released a new e-Book  - Introducing Windows Server 2012. In this e-Book, the Microsoft Windows Server product team covers key new capabilities needed when designing a private cloud foundation relating to virtualization, management, storage, networking and multi-tenancy as a primer for anyone planning for next generation Windows Server deployments.
